Day 11: A Tour Through Crochet Country

Today is Day 11 of Crochetville’s A Tour through Crochet Country, and the featured bloggers are Joy Prescott and Donna Childs.

Joy has designed over 100 crochet patterns that have been published in various books and publications!  She is also a crochet instructor, technical writer, and an accomplished fiber artist.  Joy is having a love affair with doilies, and on her blog she shares how to use them to make stylish garments.

Donna learned to crochet when she was 10 years old, and she loves to make amigurumi animals and dolls.  She has just started sharing her patterns on Ravelry, and there are more to come.  In honor of NatCroMo, Donna has designed her March Lion to Lamb Amigurumi pattern, which she has made available as a free downloadable pattern.

Tomorrow’s featured designers are Pam Daley and Deb Burger.
